AG Farm to Table

Discover how food makes it to your table and the processes behind it. In this course students will learn the skills needed to process and prepare different types of foods produced on America’s farms. Foods covered include fruits, vegetables, legumes, meats, grains, and dairy products. Students will gain skills reading recipes, identifying growing method of different food items, measuring, food safety, and an overall understanding of America’s food supply chain. As an integral part of this course all students will complete an SAE project and have the opportunity to be involved in FFA.
