Course Description: This lab-based class is taught out of our state of the art 18x48 foot greenhouse facility. The course covers topics surrounding growing a variety of houseplants, bedding plants, landscape plants. Students will be working with local plants used in landscapes and turf management. Student will be doing spring pruning as well as planting trees. Students will be growing vegetables and flowers to be sold in our spring plant sale. Students will record skills in AET record keeping system and have opportunities through FFA.
**Earn College Credit:: This class is transcripted through Western Technical College which means you will earn high school and college credit upon successful completion of this course. Please note that the college credit earned through WTC is transferable to other technical colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System.
