This course will help develop students into leaders and get prepared for the "real" world. Students will engage in leadership and team building activities. With many hands-on student activities, students will develop the skills necessary to be an active part in a group or a leader in the workplace. Along with the activities, students will also work on interviewing skills, portfolios, develop resumes, cover letters and techniques to move into the workplace. Effective communication is essential for any workplace setting. This class will provide students with the opportunity to develop advocacy skills and create a variety of market-ready products to promote a vision created by the student. Emphasis is placed on designing, proofreading, correcting and producing work-ready products using different computer applications. The curriculum is endless, with many opportunities for students to grow and develop skills needed to be successful in life.
