High Tech + Real life Skills! Discover one of the fastest growing segments of agriculture, while exploring potential careers available. This class will focus on precision agriculture by learning to operate drones, understanding satellite imagery, utilizing GPS and GIS in order to make agriculture and environmental decisions more productive and efficient. Drive a UTV and use mapping programs, along with computer software to understand these concepts and put them into practice. Explore autonomous vehicles, sensor systems, vertical farming, and robots that specialize in food production, reducing environmental impact, animal and plant science systems. Guest speakers, field experiences and hands-on learning will assist students in being successful in class.
