AG Youth Apprenticeship-Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources

High school students are encouraged to consider a Youth Apprenticeship, which allows students to work in a paid job placement while taking related coursework. The purpose is to build employability skills that our local employers are seeking. Students can earn a state Youth Apprenticeship certificate upon completion.

Credit: 3 credits (450 hours)

Grade Level: 11, 12

Prerequisite: Must have related coursework during YA
