ART 2-D Art Studio

This course is designed for the students wanting to become better artists. Emphasis is placed on learning to draw and paint realistically with more sophisticated drawing and painting techniques, creating accurate renderings in pencil, pen and ink, scratch board, pastels, mixed media, oil, as well as acrylics. Students will learn the traditional techniques of the “Masters” as well as explore more contemporary styles in drawing, painting, and design. Students will also study the influences of many styles of art and famous artists throughout history.

There is a $20/trimester charge for covering paint and canvas costs.
