This course is for students who have already taken and passed Ceramics I (Pottery & Crafts I) and Ceramics II (Pottery & Crafts II) with a C or higher and and are serious about ceramics.
Students taking this course should have the prior knowledge and ability to use the basic skills of pinch, coil, and slab in projects with good to excellent craftsmanship. Students who take this course should be self-sufficient and work well to meet deadlines. Students will be required to make more potter's wheel projects and more will have more opportunities to choose from a list of projects. Project level will be intermediate-difficult and will require more time in planning and constructing.
