ART Graphic Design

Graphic Design is the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books. Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports. In this class we will be learning about how to use the elements and principles of art and design to create visually interesting compositions. We will be working mostly on the computer/iPads to learn about different programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, and many more. The goal is to give you a basic understanding of graphic design, how to use technology and current programs, career options, how to sell your art and so much more.
