ART Intro to Drawing

Students will be introduced to the basics of art, learning to draw and see the way an artist sees. The “Elements of Art” and “Principles of Design” will be stressed in every unit. The semester will feature a skill building progression, allowing student’s artistic knowledge and skills to improve gradually as individual creativity is encouraged. Early concentration will be on drawing skills using a wide variety of mediums; (pencil, pastel, ink, markers, and paint.)
