ART Studio Art I: Intro to Art Foundations

In the art foundations course students will explore the “Elements of Art” and “Principles of Design” through the use of various art methods such as drawing, painting, pottery, sculpture, printmaking and computer design. Students will continue to refine their art skills while developing an appreciation for the work of master artists, and art styles, from around the world as well as, what is needed to pursue an art and design career. Students will begin the process of developing a sketchbook to store their ideas and an electronic portfolio to track the development of their artistic work.
