ART Studio Art IV: Advanced
In the Advanced Art Studio course students will use all that they have discovered in their past art classes to develop a course of self directed study that is distinctly their own. In this course students will develop a plan and complete art contracts for each unit. Students will be expected to, with the instructors help, research, plan, develop, and analyze six or more art units that will advance their growth as an artist and add to their electronic art portfolio. The contracted art units will include the study of other artists, and art careers, and how they relate to the art skills and techniques being studied by the student. The student will also be responsible for presenting their artwork to a wider audience either through an art show or a portfolio presentation to a group of people. $5.00 materials fee
