ART Survey II

This course is a continuation of Art Survey I. The course covers these artistic periods: Impressionism, Post Impressionism, Surrealism, Cubism, Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Op Art, Color Field Art, and Art in America. Students will create studio projects based on these different time periods. Students will also learn about the interesting lives of the artists who were involved in these time periods. Students will learn the titles, Students will be able to use and manipulate a variety of art mediums: clay, paint, drawing materials, and mixed media. This class is great for students who enjoyed Art Survey I and want to continue to learn about the history of art.
