Students taking Three-Dimensional Studio Art should have completed Art Foundations with a ‘C’ or better. This course is for the student interested in advancing their abilities and interests in the three-dimensional arts. Emphasis will be placed on creating works of art with fine-tuned craftmanship and meaning through the use of cardboard, assemblage, ceramics, weaving, plaster, paper mache, and wire. Students will also study the influences of many styles of art and famous artists throughout history. Students will continue the process of developing a portfolio to store their ideas and work and a visual journal.
