BUSINESS College Success Strategies

Prepare for your educational journey after high school via College Success Strategies. Students will explore academic study strategies, college resources, various methods of paying for college, and how to balance school, work, and social aspects of college. Topics include: effective notetaking; study skills; test taking tips; best practices for online courses, and college program planning; college campus resources such as: library, tutoring, technology, mental and physical health, and career services; paying for college via scholarships, student loans, working, and more; time management, prioritizing, and effective communication. Students will complete several hands-on activities to actually research information and resources available at the college they are planning to attend. Students will also research and apply for college scholarships as part of this course.
