BUSINESS Financial and Career Planning

This year-long course will focus on a variety of financial planning topics including budgeting, saving, investing, and estate planning. Using a variety of activities, students will learn about income, taxes, insurance, credit, and major purchases like buying a house or a car. This course will also provide students with opportunities to explore careers and post-secondary options including how to develop a plan to pay for education beyond high school. Students will need to complete a job shadow and begin their senior portfolio required for graduation.
