This course is designed to help you understand the impact of your individual choices on occupational goals and future earnings potential. Real world topics covered will include income, money management, spending and credit, saving and investing, paying for college, as well as taxes and insurance. This course will provide a foundational understanding for making informed personal financial decisions.

Topics include: Financial Goals and Inspiration, Saving, Spending, Employment Taxes, Budgeting & Money Management, Borrowing Money and Managing Credit, Paying for College, Insurance, and Investing.
 

**Graduation Requirement** This class can be taken to fulfill the .5 graduation credit for financial literacy.

**Earn College Credit** This class is transcripted through Western Technical College which means you will earn high school and college credit upon successful completion of this course.
