BUSINESS Business Technology Skills - INDEPENDENT STUDY

This course provides students the opportunity to learn and improve on basic business technology skills.
This is a great opportunity to practice and improve skills in the following areas: keyboarding/touch typing, Google Suite (Docs, Slides, and Sheets), email, electronic calendar, file management, digital citizenship/online safety, and internet search skills.
Students will also explore possible business careers, as well as business course offerings and pathways.

This class is offered every year, at any time that fits your schedule. You may also take it in addition to your schedule. All course material will be available online via Google Classroom. You will follow a weekly schedule for completion of learning activities and assessments. Meet with the instructor at the start of the trimester for a course orientation. Periodic meetings with the instructor are required during the trimester to discuss progress and goals.
