COMPUTER SCIENCE Game Design

This course will introduce students to the world of text based programming. Students
will learn about the design process, the software development cycle and how to program a real video game. Game Design will focus on the basic concepts of text-based programming, including loops, variables, conditionals, functions and object-oriented basics. Students in this class will have the opportunity to build games for the school video arcade. It is recommended students take Exploring Computers and Programming 1 and 2 before Game Design.
