ELA 10 Literature and Composition
During this course, students participate in various units, reinforcing concepts and skills attained during previous grade levels, while adding complexity and sophistication commensurate with a higher grade level. Throughout these units, students will practice reading, writing, listening, speaking, research, and thinking skills. An emphasis is placed on composition and reading quality literature. Students will write in many forms, including literary analysis and persuasion. They will also read literature from multiple genres, including short stories, poetry, drama, and novels.
