This class will introduce students to the many voices that have written about America and the American experience. Various types of literature and authors will give students a view of America's development from its beginning to today. Students will be asked to complete a variety of written pieces that will allow them to reflect on historical events, American values, people's and groups' experiences, and their own position within American society.
