Students will develop argumentative writing skills through reading, communicating, critical thinking, and researching. This is considered a preparation for academic writing at a college level. The course follows the 5-step writing process when drafting a rhetorical analysis essay, a literary analysis essay, and a Take-a-stand/propose-a-solution essay.
