ELA EL Newcomer Class

EL Newcomer is a welcoming and supportive class for middle and high school students who are beginning their journey in learning English. In this class, students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing every day in ways that feel safe, engaging, and meaningful. Lessons are designed to build confidence while helping students use English to communicate their ideas and experiences. Students explore essential topics such as bravery, conflict, and teamwork through stories, discussions, and hands-on activities. This class values students’ cultures and backgrounds, making learning personal and empowering.
