ELA Film & Literature

This class will give students experience with analyzing a form of media that they may currently watch passively. Students will be introduced to the key elements of film and will apply those elements to films of varying length and complexity. Additionally, students will analyze how written literature can be transformed into film and why directors make certain decisions when adapting a work from book to movie.
