Course Description: This course will cover basic kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment, terminology, measurement, nutrition and the dietary guidelines, making nutritious meals as well as meal planning, management, and service as it related to personal and family settings. This course also involves an action project relation to "go green" concepts as well as Foreign Foods project.
