This course uses the Dean Vaughn Medical Terminology 350 Total Retention System. The program teaches the basic design medical terminology and how to easily remember, pronounce and apply the meaning of all the prefixes, roots and suffixes that combine to form 11,000 complex medical terms. We will also learn common abbreviations and their meanings for medical terms in each of the body systems. This course is a source of excellent knowledge for life, a great way to explor
e one’s interest in the medical field, or as preparation for taking the Medical Terminology college level course.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a student organization linked to the Health Sciences Education field which provides opportunities to expand student knowledge and critical experience in the medical field.
