HEALTH SCIENCE CPR, First Aid & Stress Management

This course covers emergency management procedures for various injuries and sudden illnesses, including 1- and 2- person CPR, and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for cardiac emergencies and basic first aid techniques; as well as certification in first aid and CPR.

This course also provides students a comprehensive overview of various topics related to stress management. As a part of the course, students will practice various stress management techniques and relaxation skills that they will be able to apply outside of the classroom. Students will also have the opportunity to assess and reflect on their own stress levels, which they will use to develop a customized self-care regimen.
