HEALTH SCIENCE Firefighter
Describes basic fire behavior, techniques used to control structural and related fire emergencies, and life safety practices. Students perform all practical evolutions necessary to control and extinguish fires and otherwise meet all requirements for Firefighter I certification with the State of Wisconsin. Students must be 17 at the start of the course and: Accuplacer Writing – 69 or Accuplacer Next Gen Writing - 237 Accuplacer Math - 56 or Next Gen Math - 237 Accuplacer Reading- 55 or Next Gen Reading - 237 Or Composite ACT of 17 Or a GPA after junior year of 2.6
