Welcome to the opportunity to explore health careers for a future occupation! This course is the first in the Health Career sequence of courses that will help you examine many key facets of the healthcare industry. You will be able to explore many health career pathways through interactive activity-based experiences. Some of the units will include career assessments and interest inventories, healthcare systems, traits and skills of healthcare workers, effective communication, medical math, infection control, vital signs and clinical skills. Clay Day Friday (building human anatomy out of clay) is just one of the fun activities in the course to help you explore your interests in healthcare! Opportunities in HOSA membership, activities, and competitions are available.
