MATH 108: Pre-Calculus
Mathematics 108: Math Student Eligibility Requirements: Must be accepted into the UW - Oshkosh - CAPP Program by achieving the following UW Math Placement Test Scores (usually taken in April at an approved site): Fundamentals 466, Advanced Algebra 150, Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry 150. Must meet at least ONE of the following 3 requirements
  • Class rank in the top 25%
  • GPA of a 3.25 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • ACT score of 24 or higher with one of the following…
    • Rank in top 50%
    • GPA 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale
A functional approach to college algebra and trigonometry. Polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, circular and trigonometric functions. Recommended for all students who place at this level and who expect to take the Mathematics 171 - Mathematics 172 calculus sequence.
