- Independence
The purpose of this course is to bridge the mathematical gap between Algebra and Calculus. By the end of this course, students will be able to perform operations in the complex number system, understand polynomials and their graphs, understand and apply matrices, reason with equations and inequalities, interpret and build functions, express geometric properties with equations, and use probability to make decisions.
The purpose of this course is to interpret graphs of trigonometric functions and apply trigonometric properties to solve problems relevant to various career fields in mathematics. By the end of the class students will be able to effectively use the unit circle, use each of the trigonometric functions appropriately, and formulate ways to apply trigonometry to solve problems from many scenarios.
