MATH Advanced Statistics

The purpose of this course is to expand upon the concepts learned in previous mathematics classes and to further develop understanding of how statistics plays a role all around us. By the end of the course students should be able to gather, interact with, and make inferences using data from various sources. They should also be able to determine whether or not data is legitimate by determining what types of bias may be present. We will spend time analyzing data and finding a wide range of statistical information pertaining to that data as well as how to apply the uses of statistics across categories.
