MATH Algebra II

All 4year college require Algebra 2 for admissions Algebra II A/B is a class that takes the Algebra I and Formal Geometry skills and uses them to a higher degree and incorporates multiple concepts together to apply and understand new math concepts. It is necessary that students have a good foundation in the previous two classes listed, as they will be expected to recall and retrieve concepts/formulas to apply in the lesson listed below by chapter. Students will learn to interpret, graph, write and manipulate equations with leading degrees ranging from 1 to 5 (generally speaking). They will develop new techniques to graphing and analyzing equations quickly and more efficiently and will build a deeper understanding why functions and the data generated from them look and operate in unique, yet obvious ways. Algebra II reveals some of the secrets to why things happen in Algebra.
