MATH Intro Algebra I
The purpose of this course is to build foundational skills necessary to be successful in the Algebra 1 curriculum. By the end of this trimester course, students will gain skills in proficiency at solving algebraic equations, working with fractions and percents, the negative number system, inequalities and their graphs, simplifying expressions, ratios and proportions, unit conversions, prime factorization, graphing linear equations, as well as calculating and interprating slope (or rate of change).
