Making decisions in today’s world can be difficult and challenging because of the overabundance of data. Statistics provides tools for describing this data and helping us make informed and intelligent decisions based on this data. This course will not only cover the basics of statistics and probability but it will also analyze real life situations and how statistics can be applied using various technology tools. This course will also explore interpreting categorical and quantitative data, making inferences, justifying conclusions, conditional probability, the rules of probability and using probability to make decisions.
