Course Description: Concert Choir is a choir that is available to all students in grades 9-12 interested in learning and performing choral music. Choir is a blast with friends from different grade levels. It involves the study of basic music history and theory, as well as around 4 performances throughout the school year. Students involved in this class receive voice lessons during their study hall, E period, or before/after school. Participation in this class will give the students the opportunity to perform in the AHS Accidentals, the fall musical, and Solo Ensemble if they so choose. Concert Choir members also have the opportunity to participate in the music tours (ex. New York/Texas) that happen every other year.
