MUSIC Vocal Music

The Independence High School Choir is designed for those students who enjoy singing and learning about music. We study a wide variety of music - from classical to contemporary. The primary activities are vocally performing songs of many styles, vocal technique, and staging. Choir also includes subject matter that relates to the ELA Common Core. Interwoven throughout class is reading and writing about music, decoding and processing music notation, comprehending and critiquing the language of the words in the music. Participation in all performances is required.

El Coro de Independence High School está diseñado para aquellos estudiantes que disfrutan cantando y aprendiendo acerca de la música. Estudiamos una amplia variedad de música - desde lo clásico a lo contemporáneo. Las actividades primarias están realizando vocalmente canciones de muchos estilos, técnica vocal, y puesta en escena. Coro también incluye el tema que se relaciona con la ELA Common Core.
