PE General Physical Education

Activities are geared towards skill, strategy, and knowledge development in each unit. Units will include activities related to fitness, team/individual sports, and leisure activities. Units will be introduced during the trimester that they are most likely to be utilized. SHAPE standards will be used for assessment.

Units may include, but are not limited to:

Fall trimester: Fitness, outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, etc.), archery, football, soccer, Frisbee, and volleyball

Winter trimester: Fitness, outdoor activities (ice fishing, sledding, snowshoeing, etc.), basketball, floor hockey, badminton, bean bags, and pickleball. 

Spring trimester: Fitness, outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, etc.) softball/ragball, kickball, bocce, archery, speedball, and orienteering/geocaching
