Course Description: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior students will explore many different Individual or partner based sports and activities that will help them to improve their individual fitness level and their knowledge and skills of various sports or recreational activities. Emphasis will be placed on basic skills needed to participate in the activity units as well as basic game strategies and vocabulary necessary to participate at a beginner or intermediate level. Units may include: bowling, badminton, pickleball, deck tennis, golf, tennis, cross country, track and field, archery, cross country skiing/snow shoeing, spikeball, competitive individual/partner games. Completion of this course will allow students to take advanced sports.
