Course Description: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior students will explore many different team sports and activities that will help them to improve their individual fitness level and their knowledge and skills of various sports or recreational activities. Emphasis will be placed on basic skills needed to participate in the activity units as well as basic game strategies and vocabulary necessary to participate at a beginner or intermediate level. Units may include: soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, floor hockey, volleyball, cricket, la crosse, competitive team games. Completion of this course will allow students to take advanced sports.
