SCIENCE Chemistry A & B

Chemistry is the science dealing with the matter and how it changes. We begin with the study of matter, atomic structure, chemical compounds and formulas, chemical quantities, mole conversions, solutions, and finish with acid/base reactions.

This course may be required for students entering college. It should be considered a requirement for students interested in the medical field or students going for an overall science degree. The course is taught as a college prep course, and the expectation is students will be prepared for any introductory chemistry courses taken in college or technical schools.
