SCIENCE Physical Science 9

Aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, and should be taken during the first trimester of your freshman year.

This course is an interrelated study of the scientific method, Chemistry and Physics. The first semester of Physical Science will focus on the scientific process, chemistry, and introduction to electricity. Throughout the semester we will emphasize mathematical aspects of modern sciences necessary for advanced high school science classes, as well as for solving many common problems faced by everyone after high school. All freshman students will be completing an Independent Research Project, IRP.
