SCIENCE Physics

Physics will be taught in Whitehall on an alternate year schedule with Chemistry-C, starting in 2022-23 school year.

The world around us is constantly in motion. Objects are moving at relative speeds, distances, and times from within the atom itself to objects millions of miles away. Physics is the science of asking and answering the question, “How and why do these objects move; and what happens when these objects interact or collide?” The goal of this course is for you to begin to analyze the world around you and begin to quantify the magnitude of various objects in motion. This course will bring together Science-Math-&Toys, to help us better understand the fundamental Laws of Physics.
