SOCIAL STUDIES American Government
American Government provides students with knowledge of political systems, the structures of power, authority, and governance, and the historical and contemporary functions of each of these structures in American society. Students will examine these issues on local, state, national, and international levels. In addition, students will be able to use the knowledge they acquire to develop civic responsibility and become more effective citizens and participatory problem solvers in their own communities.
