Course Description: This course will examine the attributes of successful leaders and their leadership styles, will develop each student’s personal ethical code, and will apply these character and leadership traits as student leaders in curricular activities, co-curricular activities, or in the work place. Instructional methods for this course include: group lecture using PowerPoint, in-class discussions on ethical issues in current events, in-class readings and discussions on role models who personify positive leadership attributes, movies and movie clips on character and leadership, and individual and group projects applying leadership techniques as student leaders.
