This course will introduce students to drafting and design by working with Solidworks, a 3D drafting software that is used throughout industry. This class will cover basic tools/commands, 2D drawing, dimensioning, blueprint reading, and creating 3D parts. This course will use Western Technical College curriculum along with being introduced to this software to 3D print. This course may have opportunities for transcripted credits through multiple technical colleges.
