TECH ED Assembly

This is an advanced manufacturing class which focuses on using your fabrication skills learned in Machining or Welding II to complete projects. Those projects will rely heavily on shop safety, team cooperation, blueprint reading, and measurement skills. Welding or machining, and CAD skills are a necessity. Students will be detail-oriented producing products that are aesthetically pleasing, but under specific time restraints. Examples include chicken charcoal grills, portable burning rings, and small trailers but will not be limited to that. The class will also include tours of area welding, machining, or fabrication facilities and working environments.
