Course Description: Auto Maintenance is for students interested in making a career as an auto technician. Areas covered are engines, fuel system, cooling systems, disc and drum brake overhaul, testing equipment, oscilloscope patterns, scan tool diagnostics, lubrication system, safety inspection, and wheel and tire diagnosis and repair. The final quarter of class, students will be paired with a mentor for on the job training.
**Earn College Credit:: This class is transcripted through Western Technical College which means you will earn high school and college credit upon successful completion of this course. Please note that the college credit earned through WTC is transferable to other technical colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System.
