This unique and exciting course is designed for all students; especially those with little or no past experience in the field of technology and engineering wishing to become more self-sufficient and prepared for home and automotive maintenance. The course covers home mechanics such as wiring a few light fixtures, automotive service such as oil changes and tire rotation, basic tool knowledge such as table saw usage and air powered tools and finally finishing techniques such as drywall repair, staining and polyurethane. This course provides a great learning experience for those totally unfamiliar with technology education and teaches some very valuable things that can help you in the future with home and auto repairs. Many hands-on and group opportunities are provided throughout the course.
