Do you want to be able to make things out of wood, be a Pinterest Do It Yourselfer, or just be a Do It Yourselfer! Then this class is for you! This course introduces students to concepts that include wood identification, stationary and portable woodworking equipment operations and safety, the lumber milling process, joinery used in woodworking and general shop safety operations. In the end you will have the knowledge to make just about anything out of wood! It is highly recommended that you take this class before taking the Construction/Carpentry classes.
