TECH ED Construction I

This one trimester course provides students with concept-based introduction into construction careers, processes, and practices commonly used in residential and commercial building. Students will learn to identify and use basic tools of the profession by building realistic mockups in a lab setting. Course content will include: basic tools, material estimating, site preparation, design principles, foundations, flooring, wall, and roof framing, plumbing electrical, masonry, and more…Students in this class will develop knowledge and appreciation for the skills required in the very demanding construction field today.
